Sales Associate
Role Overview:
As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our carbon credits and business solutions to a wide range of customers. In addition to sales responsibilities, you will also be involved in conducting internal due diligences as well as due diligence on potential clients to ensure the compatibility of their business practices with our mission and values.
Your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue growth by identifying and converting prospects into clients. You will be responsible for building relationships, conducting sales presentations, negotiating contracts, performing due diligences, and ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Perform internal due diligences as well as due diligence on potential clients, evaluating their business practices, environmental impact, and alignment with our sustainability goals.
- Identify and prospect potential clients who are interested in purchasing carbon credits and engaging in sustainable business practices.
- Conduct research and market analysis to identify target industries, organizations, and individuals that align with our values and would benefit from our carbon capture solutions.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Present our carbon capture technologies, business models, and carbon credit offerings to clients through compelling sales presentations and demonstrations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales materials, including brochures, presentations, case studies, and other relevant sales collateral.
- Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for both parties.
- Provide exceptional post-sales support, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns, and maintaining ongoing client relationships to drive repeat business.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and advancements in carbon capture technologies to effectively communicate the value proposition of our products and services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- At least 1 years of experience in sales.
- Strong passion for sustainability and combating climate change.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients.
- Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills.
- Experience or familiarity with conducting internal due diligence and on potential clients, evaluating business practices, and assessing environmental impact.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
