Responsibilities
- Develop partnerships with assigned customers, maximizing opportunities in existing and new markets and managing the needs of customers.
- Execute sales and account management to achieve sales objectives in assigned territory.
- Work with customers through proper coordination of orders and deliveries, and channel distribution to ensure stock availability at the assigned wholesalers.
- Responds timely to customer inquiries and resolves issues and concerns promptly while keeping customer retention a priority.
- Pursue business opportunities by understanding customers’ diverse, specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs.
- Monitor and report on competitor activities to the Area Sales Manager
- Keep the ASM updated on the state of the trade in all areas worked in, particularly as it applies to distribution effectiveness and CIL’s position in the market.
- Implement Trade/Shopper Marketing initiatives throughout the General Trade Channel, ensuring that such initiatives are kept refreshed.
- Secure new orders from prospective customers and from existing clients by upselling and cross-selling in line with set individual targets. Achieve and exceed sales targets set by Area Sales Manager and contribute to team targets.
- Cultivate new sales leads to establish a business; identify and develop new business through networking, courtesy, and follow-up calls.
- Continuously visit markets to strengthen relationships with existing accounts and identify and bring on board new accounts.
- Promptly deal with all customer complaints and follow up to ensure their issues have been resolved satisfactorily.
- Gather feedback from customers on products and services so as to inform improvement decisions.
- Prepare weekly sales plans and submit comprehensive reports (daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis) as per the requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Sales or related roles.
- Good planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills

- Demonstrate a high degree of sensitivity, and confidentiality when dealing with internal and external customers.
