Role Profile
- The Risk Manager will be responsible for identifying and analyzing various risks, i.e. Operational, business, financial, etc), developing risk management controls and contingency plans and communicating recommendations to management. The Risk Manager will report to the Head, Global Internal Audit & Risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Together with senior management, develop and formalize a risk management strategy that aligns with Kyosk Digital Services (KDS)’s overall strategy, objectives and outcomes;
- In collaboration with relevant departments & subsidiaries create comprehensive risk assessments of the KDS ’s activities, identifying potential risks and mitigation strategies as well as monitoring risk levels over time;
- Analyze the identified risks (e.g. operational, business, financial) and develop risk management controls and contingency plans;
- Review existing and proposed policies and procedures to eliminate or mitigate potential inherent risks in the processes and advice management on areas for improvements;
- Analyze data and current trends and make recommendations on emerging risks that could impair achievement of KDS objectives.
- Coordinate with Internal Controls & Process Optimization to document all risks in the Risk Registers and continuously update the registers with emerging risks;
- Coordinate organization-wide compliance monitoring, reporting and follow up on corrective actions;
- Assisting in establishing a follow-up mechanism on risk recommendations to that management has taken corrective action(s).
- Prepare reports and present risks recommendations to management and other stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications & Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
- Professional certification in Risk Management, CRMA, CRM, CERP, etc. A second qualification, i.e CPA , CIA CISA, ACCA, will be an added advantage
- A member of professional risk management organization
- 8 year’s experience with at least 3 years’ experience in managing risks preferably in FMCG
