Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process, verify, and maintain documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, and classifications.
  • Assists in orientation of new employees on human resource policies and programs as needed.
  • Filing and dispatch of all correspondences regarding staff.
  • Oversee the human resource database and ensures that system records are accurately recorded and cross-checked.
  • Assist in conducting Human Resource Department mini audits and submit preliminary reports.
  • Assist in performance management by participating in staff appraisals.
  • Attend at least one monthly sub county staff meeting quarterly.
  • Perform any other duty as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration Management, Social Sciences or its equivalent from recognized institution.
  • At least three (3) years’ working experience in a similar position or comparable position.
  • Must be a registered member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).
  • Must have sound knowledge of the new labour laws.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet required deadlines.
