Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process, verify, and maintain documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, and classifications.
- Assists in orientation of new employees on human resource policies and programs as needed.
- Filing and dispatch of all correspondences regarding staff.
- Oversee the human resource database and ensures that system records are accurately recorded and cross-checked.
- Assist in conducting Human Resource Department mini audits and submit preliminary reports.
- Assist in performance management by participating in staff appraisals.
- Attend at least one monthly sub county staff meeting quarterly.
- Perform any other duty as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration Management, Social Sciences or its equivalent from recognized institution.
- At least three (3) years’ working experience in a similar position or comparable position.
- Must be a registered member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).
- Must have sound knowledge of the new labour laws.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet required deadlines.
