Purpose:
- As a wheels and brakes workshop technician, your role will be primarily focused on maintaining and repairing the wheel and brake systems of our renowned fleet of aircrafts which includes the C208, B1900D, Dash 8- 100/200/300, and Embraer 135/145
Responsibilities: –
These are key responsible for but not limited to:
- Comprehensive maintenance and repair of wheels and brakes
- Detailed inspections and diagnostics of wheels and brakes systems
- Implementation of quality control and safety protocols in the workshop
- Timely documentation of all maintenance procedures.
- Minimum Candidate requirements for a wheels and brakes workshop technician: –
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering, with a KNEC qualification.
- KCSE Mean score of C+, with minimum C+ in Mathematics and Physics.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the same role.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a very fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
