Gross Salary: KES 35,000

Job Purpose: 

We are seeking to hire a motivated office receptionist to manage day to day office and administration functions for the company.The successful candidate will be based in Nairobi office or other upcountry offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meeting, greeting, welcoming and directing companys clients/visitors.
  • Answering, screening and forwarding companys calls.
  • Taking messages and ensuring they are passed on to the right staff member in time.
  • Perform basic booking, filling, clerical duties and secretarial duties such as photocopying, fax documentation, monitor, control and order office supplies.
  • Book and schedule meeting on behalf of the company.
  • Receiving and delivering all incoming and outgoing mails and packages.
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access by monitoring logbook and issue visitors cards.
  • Ensure tidiness and presentation of the reception area with all necessary stationery and materials.
  • Perform any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.

Required Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Proven work experience of at least 1 year as a receptionist, front office representative or a similar role.
  • A Diploma or a Certificate in Front Office, Office reception, Secretarial studies or any related field.
  • Hands on experience with office equipment such as printers and computers.
  • Proficiency in Computer skills and professional phone etiquettes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High levels of organization skills and ability to multitask.
  • Time management, interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize.
