Gross Salary: KES 35,000
Job Purpose:
We are seeking to hire a motivated office receptionist to manage day to day office and administration functions for the company.The successful candidate will be based in Nairobi office or other upcountry offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meeting, greeting, welcoming and directing companys clients/visitors.
- Answering, screening and forwarding companys calls.
- Taking messages and ensuring they are passed on to the right staff member in time.
- Perform basic booking, filling, clerical duties and secretarial duties such as photocopying, fax documentation, monitor, control and order office supplies.
- Book and schedule meeting on behalf of the company.
- Receiving and delivering all incoming and outgoing mails and packages.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access by monitoring logbook and issue visitors cards.
- Ensure tidiness and presentation of the reception area with all necessary stationery and materials.
- Perform any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.
Required Qualifications and Competencies:
- Proven work experience of at least 1 year as a receptionist, front office representative or a similar role.
- A Diploma or a Certificate in Front Office, Office reception, Secretarial studies or any related field.
- Hands on experience with office equipment such as printers and computers.
- Proficiency in Computer skills and professional phone etiquettes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High levels of organization skills and ability to multitask.
- Time management, interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize.
