About the job
We are looking for individuals interested in carrying out research in the fields of ML, Data Science, AI and IoT.
Responsibilities
- Investigate machine learning methods for various applications
- Design and fabricate IoT devices for data collection
- Develop data collection pipelines for IoT applications
- Produce technical reports on tasks performed
- Any other duty that may be assigned by an authorized officer
Qualifications
- Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology or related field.
- Candidates who will have completed their undergraduate course and will be awaiting graduation can apply.
- Computer programming experience in either Python, C/C++, or R is desirable. The candidate’s CV should include a link to an online repository containing coding samples (eg. GitHub)
- The candidates must have a keen interest in developing machine learning and internet of things (IoT) applications in areas such as health, agriculture and environmental conservation.
- Prior experience in developing machine learning, IoT or related applications is desirable.
- Experience with electrical hardware design and electronic design automation software is desirable.
- The interns will be engaged for six months initially after which those with outstanding performance will be considered for contract renewal.
