We are a rental houses marketplace based in Kenya. We help tenants find relevant houses using geolocation and link them up with landlords/agents with vacant units.
We are looking for a graphics designer to visualize and create graphics including posts, illustrations, logos, layouts, and photos that will shape the visual aspects of our website posts, social media posts, Ads, and tutorials.
You should be creative, enjoy designing, and have the self-drive to complete projects with little follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Access design briefs and evaluate the requirements
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Develop illustrations and designs using Figma or any other software
- Determine the appropriate colour balance for each graphic
- Collaborate with copywriters and creative director to enhance final designs
- Amend designs based on feedback provided.
- Ensure the final graphics and layouts match the brand and are visually appealing
Skills & Experience
- Verifiable graphic design experience
- A strong portfolio of past designs
- Familiarity with Figma or other design software
- Great creativity and a keen eye for design aesthetics
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-moving environment with multiple projects
- Proactive with good problem-solving skills and people skills
- Great communication skills
- Ability to create and edit short clips will be an added advantage
Location:
This position is open to remote graphic designers so long as one has a reliable internet connection for frequent virtual meetings.
