Job Summary:
To implement and drive sales strategies for the Company and ensure sales targets for Ithaga TV are met within all given monthly deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic and competitive sales marketing concepts.
- Visit clients and make sales pitches and ensure swift and efficient closure of the deal.
- Acquire new clientele and update the Directors promptly.
- Maintain effective customer care services.
- Submit weekly forecasts to help determine which clients to critically focus on to maximize sales volume and growth.
- Follow up on sales collections and ensure timely payments by all clients.
- Adhere to the company’s credit policy with no debt beyond the credit period.
- Provide excellent account management in line with this, cultivate the first point of contact between the station and clients and use excellent interpersonal skills to keep the business relationships strong.
- Ensure that your dressing and conduct fully represents a professional company.
- Undertake a strategic and value adding approach to selling.
- Handle sales administrative issues as necessary.
- Conduct price surveys, customer satisfaction surveys and other market research.
- Conduct market intelligence on media gaps and business opportunities.
- Work closely with the creative graphic designers to prepare mockups that can sell and position them as per the Company’s strategy.
- Prepare weekly reports and any other reports as agreed with the Directors to enable timely guidance or any intervention.
- Reconcile customers accounts on a monthly basis and work with the Finance team to ensure monthly statements are signed off and dispatched to all clients.
Qualifications
- Degree: Degree in Marketing, Commerce, Sales or related field
- Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in the Media Industry
- Fluent in spoken Kikuyu Language & English
