USIU-Africa is committed to supporting the government realize its academic goals by providing 2 partial academic scholarships that cover 50% of tuition cost to Kenyan civil servants seeking to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice degree program at USIU-Africa
Criminal Justice is the government controlled systematic practice of applying laws for the purpose of social control in society; and for the prevention and lessening of crime; and using courts and legal procedure, which necessitates penalties and sanctions for law violations
Application Requirements
- All applicants MUST submit their applications to the USIU-Africa Office of Financial Aid before Friday, June 2, 2023.
- For the ‘Criminal Justice Scholarship for the Civil Servants Studies‘, a complete applications will consist of the following 5 documents:
- An application letter,
- An ‘O’-Level certificate,
- Copies of other relevant certified certificates,
- An essay detailing the applicant’s background information and reasons why the applicant deserves the scholarship, and
- A recommendation letter from the employer (immediate supervisor or department head).
- For all the other Scholarships, a complete applications will consist of the following 7 documents:
- An application letter,
- An ‘O’-Level certificate,
- Copies of the school leaving certificate,
- Other relevant certificates (certified by the Principal or Head Teacher),
- A recommendation letter from the Principal or Head Teacher,
- An essay detailing applicant’s background information and degree the applicant wishes to pursue, and
- An essay detailing the reasons why the applicant deserves the scholarship.
