Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced senior front-end developer who is proficient with JavaScript and React.js to work on our products. Your primary focus will be developing and implementing user interface components following well-known React.js workflows. You will collaborate with front-end, QA, and DevOps engineers, and you will report directly to the Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
• Collaborating with the back-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code to enhance the user experience.

Required Qualities and Qualifications

• BSC degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related subject.
• 5+ years as a front-end developer and 3+ years in front-end engineering with React js.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• High proficiency in JavaScript including DOM manipulation and JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and offline storage
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical requirements
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
• Clear and accurate written and verbal communication. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Good time-management skills
