Relevant sectoral or thematic experience: You will have at least 4 years of relevant work experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- Develop and design creative and visually appealing graphics that align with brand guidelines and institutional objectives.
- Create and modify digital assets such as communications collaterals, templates and illustrations per the project’s visual identity and brand guide.
- Develop derivative products such as social media infographics, GIFs, and banners.
- Ensure that the project’s creative and design assets are up to date, properly archived and easily accessible to all team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency and accuracy.
- Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions to come up with innovative design concepts and ideas. Stay up to date with the latest design trends and techniques, and incorporate them into your work when appropriate.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
Essential qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, UX design, and photo editing is also required.
- Understanding of design principles, including typography, colour theory, and composition.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision, and able to take initiative and respond to feedback.
