Key Responsibilities.

  • A trusted advisor who builds relationships quickly and contributes ideas to business processes based on knowledge and experience with the aim of new customer acquisition and service sales.
  • Management of long-term commercial relationships and realization of higher customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for setting up, improving and carrying out services abroad.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with (local) authorities and parties.
  • Identifying market signals and leverage of market/customer knowledge available for an appropriate sales strategy.
  • Creating local preconditions, facilities, and logistics infrastructure.
  • Advice and supervision are relevant to cooperative obligations.
  • Preparation of integral and complex (partnership) contracts with high-risk factors and closing them.
  • Negotiation within rough guidelines about complex matters, sensitive to parties’ motives.
  • Monitoring developments to safeguard knowledge.
  • Introducing and implementing professional improvements.
  • Engage and maintain partner relationships within the respective market.
  • Consultative selling, high-level customer negotiations, focused on product-market combinations
  • Providing input – drawing up sales policy for (international) acquisition.

Skills & Qualifications.

  • Degree in Sales & Marketing/ or any other relevant course.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the Floriculture Industry.
  • Experience with flower growers and breeders.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Horticulture chain business process.
  • Extensive product and market knowledge.
  • Consultative selling, high-level customer negotiations, focused on product-market combinations.
  • Experience in client relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Contacts at the strategic level (Management Board).
  • Recognises and places in context medium and long-term scenarios.
  • Large/diverse portfolio and contracts with supplementary services.
  • Proven leadership and ability to drive sales.
  • Results Oriented.
  • Entrepreneurship skills.
  • Collaboration and Negotiations skills.
  • Open minded.
  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally.
