This role is to support the formulation and implementation of the ICT strategy and the realization of
the SACCO’s ICT objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for a combination of desktop, server and network, hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.
- Upgrade the existing hardware and software to correct reported hardware and /or software problems.
- Provides technical support for the implementation and maintenance of various software applications.
- Assist the ICT deputy manager in the operation, maintenance and ensuring power backups are provided and kept safely.
- Assist in the management and Maintenance of Society’s network
- Hardware maintenance
- Security monitoring
- ATM, mobile banking process monitoring
- Perform system updates and assist in overseeing system development
- Monitor for attacks, intrusions and unusual, unauthorised, or illegal activity.
- Participate in the training of staffs in other department on ICT matters
- Assist the ICT deputy manager to addresses and resolving ICT incidents and requests from users
- Ensure availability of a stable, efficient, and reliable ERP System/ core Sacco System to users
- Assist the ICT deputy manager in website maintenance in liaison with the business development & marketing department for content
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of all computers and accessories.
- Assist the ICT deputy manager in resolution of customer complaints pertaining to ICT.
- Assist the Business development team in management of social media pages
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Three years’ relevant experience
- Certifications in any of the following MCSE, A+, N+, CCNA will be an added advantage:
