Job Description:

The Assistant Accountant will support the finance department by performing various accounting and financial tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.
• Preparing and verifying bank deposits and carrying out bank reconciliations
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Documentation & maintenance of proper and updated records of all Fixed Assets in the Bank
• Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other statutory filings.
• Assist in the management of cash flow and treasury functions.
• Provide support during the annual audit process.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance.
• CPA Intermediate Level Qualification is required.
• At least 2 year of relevant work experience in a busy Production Sector.
• Excellent Understanding of QuickBooks Accounting System.
