Main Duties
- Developing and delivering nursing courses and lessons that align with curriculum objectives and meet the needs of students in different programs
- Providing one-on-one tutoring and support to students, including exam preparation, study skills, and career guidance
- Providing clinical teaching, monitoring and assess students while doing their clinical rotations
- Assessing student performance and progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and grades, and provide timely feedback to students and faculty
- Stay up-to-date with the latest nursing research, techniques, and trends, and integrate this knowledge into teaching and mentoring activities
- Monitoring students’ performance to maintain institutional standards
- Offering guidance and counseling to promote high degree of personal integrity, team spirit and outstanding work standards
- Developing and reviewing curriculum in line with Nursing Council requirements
- Developing and coordinating extra curriculum activities for students
- Interviewing and selecting candidates joining the nursing school
- Preparing and maintaining students register
- Developing and implementing the entire examination cycle from exam setting, moderation, marking, grading and dissemination
- Preparing and issuing students with certificate
Required Qualifications for the Position
- O Level
- KRN/KRM/KRCHN
- BScN a must
- Specialized training in Nephrology, Peri-operative, Midwifery or Critical care Nursing is an added advantage
- Computer Literacy
- Current nursing practice license
- 2 years in active teaching
