Job Purpose:
Strategically manage the distribution center in compliance with Kasha’s policies and vision. Oversee and lead all Eldoret warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, inventory control, and shipping. This role reports directly to the Senior Regional Supply Chain Manager – Kasha. An assignment may form part of the selection process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, inventory control, and shipping of orders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, SOPs, and company policies.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff, inclusive scheduling, and performance management.
- Monitor and analyze Eldoret warehouse performance metrics such as accuracy, and efficiency, and take corrective actions as needed for improvement.
- Coordinating with stakeholders like procurement, sales, and agents for timely support.
- Implement and optimize the warehouse process for efficiency and reduce costs.
- Compiling and analyzing market data and prices to be competitive and grow performance in the region.
- Manage inventory through cycle counts and reconciliations.
- Identify and resolve operations issues like delays, payment collection, and quality control, damages, and shortages in a timely manner.
- Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, etc.).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Have a proven high level of understanding and experience in procurement and supply chain and last-mile delivery of consumer and pharma products.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain analytics and KPI measurement.
- Hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics and Excel is a plus and an aptitude to learn new software and systems.
