Our client based in Kilifi is looking for dynamic and energetic interns who can work as cooks, waiters, or waitresses to join their team. They must be very eager to learn. You will be working closely with their team and will be responsible for service provision of food and beverages to the guests in an efficient and professional manner and ensure great customer service.
Roles
- Respond to requests and inquiries
- Handle reservations and prepare for restaurant service.
- Set dining tables for different types of menus and stock service stations.
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas and perform hosting functions.
- Take orders and prepare beverages.
- Serve food orders and interact with customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Provide service recovery for service breakdowns and present bills to guests.
- Prepare ingratiates for cooking and prepare different meals.
- Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- A final-year student or recent graduate with a Degree in food service, hospitality, or a related course
- Eager to learn and work.
- Positive attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Time management skills
- Team player
