Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant field.
- At least 1- 3 years of prior experience in managerial or supervisory.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Work with our client representatives in provision and supervision of staff.
- Liaising with our client’s Health and Safety Officers on the safety of the staff at work.
- Recruiting staff-shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates and recommending to the client.
- Developing and implementing policies on work conditions.
- Performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management.
- Advising on pay and other remuneration issues including promotion and benefits.
- Undertaking regular Spot check to ensure the staff are actually at their places of assignment.
- Administering payroll and maintaining employee records.
- Interpreting and advising on employment legislation.
- Dealing with grievance and implementing disciplinary procedures.
- Developing strategies with the line managers on short and long term staffing in terms of numbers and skill levels.
- Planning and sometimes delivering training, including inductions for new staff.
- Analyzing training needs in conjunction with our clients departmental managers.
- Sending daily, weekly and month reports on the operations and usage of staff.
- Liaising with our client’s OHS officers on the safety of the staff at work.
- Ensure efficient record keeping of all the documents that relate to their various sites.
