Job description
- Location: Nairobi, Kenya (Ruiru).
- Start date: As soon as possible.
- The Sales person will develop and promote sales at one of the upcoming Lapaire Optical Centers, meeting physically with potential customers and handling customer calls. He/she will work closely with Optometrists from the Optical Center and will directly report to the Branch Manager.
Their job will be composed of 3 main tasks:
Reach out and attend potential customers over the phone or at the Branch.
- Increase awareness around clear sight to all potential customers
- Use your knowledge to explain the benefits of wearing eyeglasses
- Listen, look and help people choose frames and lenses
Convert customers interest into successful sales
- Follow-up with potential customers over the phone, answering their questions related to pricing, payment and delivery
- Present clear pricing and installment plans options to potential customers
- Collect deposits and close sales with customers in due time
Ensure smooth delivery to customers
- Keep customers informed about the delivery and status of their order
Candidate profile
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Commerce, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing , or any relevant field, with +1 years of professional experience in a business/retail setting.
- Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic sales techniques and telephone etiquette.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- It is required from candidates to be proficient in accounting and analysis software (Excel etc.)
