Role Context
We are seeking to recruit a motivated individual who is passionate about digital marketing including social media marketing, to join our team of marketing professionals, as a digital marketer. In this role, you will be required to manage marketing campaigns, promoting the brand as well as products. The core role will be to increase brand awareness as well as driving traffic and acquiring leads and customers. The digital marketer will also be required to put all the efforts into understanding the brand tonality, relevance, and ongoing trends, choosing appropriate channels for running marketing campaigns and devising digital marketing strategies to achieve maximum results. The digital marketer will also be expected to identify and evaluate new digital technologies through web analytics tools and measuring traffic on the website for optimizing marketing campaigns.Our ideal candidate is a social media enthusiast with experience in copywriting, graphic design, and digital content creation.
Principal Accountabilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that includes social media, email marketing, search engine optimization, and other digital channels.
- Develop and manage content marketing initiatives that educate and engage our target audience across various channels, including our website, social media platforms, and email newsletters.
- Monitor and analyze online engagement and performance metrics and adjust digital marketing strategies accordingly to optimize performance.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the marketing team, including overseeing the creation and distribution of marketing materials, managing budgets, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business development, product development teams, business partners, and creative teams to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that support business objectives.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital marketing, and proactively suggest new initiatives that will enhance the company’s online presence and drive growth.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing initiatives and uphold the company’s brand standards and messaging.
- Manage and mentor team members, providing guidance, support, and coaching to help them grow professionally on digital platforms and meet their goals.
- Perform strategic and competitive monitoring.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field;
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, search engine optimization, and content marketing.
- Creativity and copywriting skills.
- Knowledge on digital marketing techniques, tools, and ability to leverage on the digital platforms to communicate to digitally savvy audience
- 3 years+ of experience working in a similar role.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of communications practices, tools, and techniques.
- Proactive approach to role
- Self-motivation and the ability to meet critical deadlines.
- Project management skills
- Experience working in a team of marketing professionals, including setting goals, managing budgets, and overseeing day-to-day operations.
- Experience with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms like meltwater.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
