Role in Brief
Volition Cap seeks a Front-End Web Developer who combines the art of design with the discipline of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of UI/UX design wireframes to code. The candidate will work with a UI/UX designer to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how applications look and work.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop new user-facing features
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure all user inputs are validated before submitting to the back-end developer
Skills Set and Values
- 4 years plus of proven work experience as a Frontend Engineer using React Js.
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks.
- Knowledge of Vue Js is a plus.
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
- Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as git.
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that applications adhere to them.
- Good understanding of testing libraries such as Mocha etc.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adhere to deadlines, and iterate quickly in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.
