Main purpose of the job

  • Provide IT Technical Support to users in terms of desktop support and helpdesk support.
  • Assist with maintenance and upgrading works.
  • Assist the system administrator to ensure proper equipment documentation as well as a physical inventory of assets.
  • Handle IT access control.
  • Assist in IT department-related administrative duties.
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
  • Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone).
  • Setting up accounts for new users.
  • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer science, Cyber security, or any information technology-related course.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in IT support.
  • Ability to be creative and take an ‘outside the box’ approach.
  • Ability to show and take initiative with proactive attitude.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong ethics with an ability to manage confidential information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism in all dealings.
  • Excellent written and oral skills.
  • Must have the ability to work as part of a team.
