Our programme is designed to help entrepreneurs prepare for and attract investment by providing you with the tools, resources, and support you need; to build a strong investment case. Through a series of workshops, mentorship sessions, you will gain knowledge on how to improve your business plan, strengthen your financial strategy and projections, clearly communicate your vision, and hone your pitch to make it more appealing to banks, development finance institutions, angel and other investors. 

You will also have access to a network of experienced finance professionals and entrepreneurs who will provide you with guidance and feedback on your investment strategy. We will help you navigate the complex world of venture capital and angel investing and give you the skills and confidence you need to succeed.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be a registered woman-owned based in Uganda or South Africa or Kenya.
• The business must be operating for at least two years.
• The business must generate annual revenue of $10 000 – $500 000.
• Business owners must have a minimum of a secondary school certificate.
• Must have an existing business plan, or an investor pitch that can be refined.
• All sectors are welcome but preference will be given to businesses that have climate-smart innovative products, services or technology with solid growth potential.

 Duration:

The programme duration is 10 months:

• 4 Months Training: recommended time commitment is 6 hours a week.
• 6 Months Aftercare Support – 4 hours per month of advisory and mentorship service.
• The program is delivered primarily online through self learning, peer-to-peer support and master coaching.

Commitment Fee:

• WCW requires a commitment fee of $100 or equivalent in your local currency upon acceptance to the program. This fee is invested towards post-training support interventions including networking.
