This position is a wonderful opportunity for a dynamic and committed lover of English, and experienced IGCSE teacher. They will lead the English department in KS3+4, and take on any other roles that interest them within the growing school.
Responsibilities
- Teach English literature and language as per iGCSE curriculum goals to Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Ensure consistency in teaching and planned progression looking ahead to English iGCSE examinations.
- Collaborate on planning with other teachers as relevant for optimal learning experience.
- Review student progress and realign plans accordingly in the best interest of the students.
- Embrace and promote the ethos of the school
Qualifications
B’ED or PGCE with English Literature and Language.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Creative approach to teaching and learning.
Sense of fun and outstanding commitment to student’s needs.
