Safaricom Investment Co-operative (SIC) an investment cooperative that pursues joint investment for its members, through real estate investments, marketable security, and private equity. ABOUT THE ROLE 

The Filing clerk main role is to handle titling documentation and assist with administrative work. To organize and archives records and documents. Makes copies of paperwork and distributes as needed. Retrieves data and files for other departments and personnel. Uses alphabetical and numerical systems to organize paper and electronic records documents.

What You Will Do

  • Developing and maintaining of databases.
  • Scanning and copying of files on demand basis.
  • Inventory management.
  • Gathering and organizing files and documents for co-workers.
  • Search and retrieval of documents on need basis.
  • Answering calls on record based data.
  • Troubleshooting of printer, copying and scanning machines.
  • Sorting, delivering, picking up and sending mail.
  • Answer questions about records or files.
  • Request missing documents.
  • Ensuring maintenance of well updated records.

Qualifications

  • K.C.S.E Certificate.
  • Degree/ Diploma in record management or any related field.
  • Good listening and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, software and databases.
  • Should be a problem-solver and decision-maker.
  • Should be a person of high Integrity and honesty.
