The Project Officer – Policy and Governance will be responsible for the development and
operationalization of 100% WASH Program’s Policy and Governance Strategy, especially targeting
rural water governance. S/he will have a key role in liaising and collaborating with internal and
external partners, including the target Narok county government, relevant water utilities, water
sector institutions, water users’ associations, communities, and private sector actors. S/he will
support the development of the necessary legislation & policy framework, steer policy dialogue that
stimulates enabling environment & investments for expanding water services at the County level;
and develop sustainability strategies for community-managed water schemes.
