Our client is in the Hardware and Construction industry with both contract and casual employees seeking to recruit a versatile Human Resource Officer

Summary of the Position
The Human Resource and Administration Officer will be involved in the daily administration of the HR functions such as recruitment & selection, Contract Management, Training, Employee Relations, Employee grievances, etc
Job Duties / Responsibilities / Accountabilities
a) Design and development of policies and procedures related to HR and Administration
b) Setting up HR & Admin structures
c) Handle employee contract management and negotiations
d) Compile and maintain records for use in employee administration
e) Ensuring Filing and Records management
f) Assist in the of processing of payroll and maintain all payroll records as required
g) Manage employee resignation, termination and full and final settlement of dues
h) Handle medical insurance and claims
i) Manage leave and attendance
j) Handle employee loans and bank requests
Other duties as required by Management.
Requirements
1) A minimum of five (5) years relevant experience of which at least 2 years should have been in a similar role; experience and knowledge of construction industry will be an added advantage.
2) A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
3) Relevant Certifications and Membership of Professional Bodies: IHRM
4) Demonstrate Ethical Behaviour
5) Excellent Communication Skills both spoken and written
6) Pleasant personality with ability respectfully engage
Compensation: Kshs.60,000/- to Kshs.80,000/-
