As a KM Driver, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Responsibilities and skills for this level include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with implementation of the Knowledge Management strategy
  • Maintain our Knowledge Management repositories
  • Analyse the effectiveness of the existing and new knowledge management programs/systems by observing its usage and evaluate its impact in terms of the organizational benefits;
  • Assist in tax technical support to client serving professionals (research, advice, go-to-market materials)
  • Work collaboratively with all Tax and Legal Services team members, Tax Technology team, Clients and Markets Development team, Learning and Development and occasionally external clients and intermediaries (Government Printers, National Treasury, etc.)
  • Consolidate knowledge share by various stakeholders to a common knowledge database

Preferred skills

  • Good understanding of KM tools and approaches, and their application to meet business requirements
  • Interest in technology and an understanding of the various applications that we use
  • Creative and self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills (thinks outside the box)
  • Strong facilitator, change agent, and communicator (i.e. an experienced consultant)
  • Strong operations management oversight and “hands on” skills as needed

Additional application instructions

  • A degree in any business-related course from a recognised university with the equivalent of an Upper Second
  • A background in Information Science would be an asset but not mandatory
  • Experience in Knowledge Management
