Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
- Develop, lead, and sell the organization’s new line of technologies
- Develop an ecosystem of partnerships to promote and widen the reach of their products
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities
- Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
- Negotiate and finalize deals in accordance with the company’s contract guidelines and policies and handle complaints or objections
- Keep a great ongoing relationship with current partners and offer new ways to grow the partnership
- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business administration/Commerce, Marketing, Accounting, or a related discipline, from a recognized University.
- MBA will be an added advantage
- IT hardware distribution /partner management exposure in Kenya
- 5-7 years of experience
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills, good selling & negotiation skills
- Experience in Partner management
- Experience in proactive lead-generation techniques
- Technical knowledge & MS Office skills
- Understanding of B2B purchasing behavior
- Fair understanding of how the SMEs operate
- Good understanding of the organization’s policies and processes related to customers and partners.
