Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Develop, lead, and sell the organization’s new line of technologies
  • Develop an ecosystem of partnerships to promote and widen the reach of their products
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
  • Negotiate and finalize deals in accordance with the company’s contract guidelines and policies and handle complaints or objections
  • Keep a great ongoing relationship with current partners and offer new ways to grow the partnership
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business administration/Commerce, Marketing, Accounting, or a related discipline, from a recognized University.
  • MBA will be an added advantage
  • IT hardware distribution /partner management exposure in Kenya
  • 5-7 years of experience
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills, good selling & negotiation skills
  • Experience in Partner management
  • Experience in proactive lead-generation techniques
  • Technical knowledge & MS Office skills
  • Understanding of B2B purchasing behavior
  • Fair understanding of how the SMEs operate
  • Good understanding of the organization’s policies and processes related to customers and partners.
