Job Profile

Our client is a leading diagnostics laboratory sourcing for an experienced Marketing Executive to work in its Machakos Branch.

Responsibilities

• Promote the growth of the laboratory’s services by attaining new accounts, maintaining, and increasing existing sales.
• Ability to discuss the various Laboratory tests thoroughly from a technical perspective to potential clients
• Meet and exceed all sales targets provided by management.
• Participate in conferences and local meetings to generate sales leads for potential clients and increase awareness of company services.
• Identify target audiences, objectives and desired outcomes of marketing campaigns.
• Research and develop marketing strategy, and evaluate success strategy.
• Develop content of marketing campaigns.
• Stay up-to-date on current marketing trends in the medical field.
• Manage and allocate departmental budget correctly.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (science background preferred).
• Minimum 3 years medical/laboratory/hospital sales experience with proven track record.
• Knowledge of laboratory/medical industry, including relevant diagnostic tests, pathology services, genetic testing (preferred but not a must).
• Valid Driving License.
• Good communication skills.
• Presentation and influential skills.
• Well-organized, ability to self-manage and maintain a professional and polished appearance.
• Strong analytical, communication, time-management and creativity skills.
• Strong ability to focus on customer/market and take initiative.
• Experience with social media.
