About This Role
Reports to: Senior Finance Manager
Responsibilities:
- Assist in automating donor reports (in excel and systems)
- Assist in monthly close by preparing assigned month-end schedules
- Assist in checking that management reports agree with the accounting and reporting systems
- Assist in compiling information required for various audits
- Timeframe: May-August. Minimum 8 weeks.
- Hours: approximately 30-40 per week
Education Requirement:
- Undergraduate student studying finance, accounting, or other relevant major
Skills Requirement:
- Basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping
- Ability to handle and manipulate large data sets
- Proficient in Excel
- Attention to detail

Treasury Intern
About this role

- Business Process and Technology Mapping
- Risk and controls project for Finance (payments) involving:
- Building out process maps
- Identifying the risk exposure and control deficiency
- Proposing alternatives and solutions
- Cashflow calculation, projection, and automation for the organization.
- Timeframe: May-August. Minimum 8 weeks.
- Hours: approximately 30-40 per week
Education Requirement:
- Master’s degree student studying systems, technology, finance, or other relevant majors.
Skills Requirement:
- Ability and knowledge of business process mapping,
- Basic Accounting knowledge
- Working knowledge of risk and controls
- Attention to details

Communications Intern
About this role
Reports to:Creative Content Manager
Responsibilities:
- The intern will support quality checking and editing of stories/content shared across the org on the story portal, GD Lives, videos & stock images.
- Editing and drafting quality stories from the portal, GD Lives, & ‘slack channels’.
- Pitching stories and desk research on information to strengthen said stories.
- Quality check + system monitoring and building for story portal, GDlives, video stories, stock images, etc.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the content team and other departments in the designing and development of quality stories.
- Timeframe: May-August. Minimum 8 weeks.
- Hours: approximately 10-15 per week
Education Requirement:
- Undergrad student
Skills Requirement:
- Editorial experience, extremely strong written communication, project management
