Kenyaplex Institute of Technology (KPIT) is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy Tutor to join our team of dedicated professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to our students pursuing hairdressing and beauty therapy courses.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons to students
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Develop and maintain course materials and resources
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
- Provide academic support to students
- Work collaboratively with other members of the teaching team to ensure the smooth running of the courses
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in hairdressing and beauty therapy
Requirements:
- Diploma in hairdressing and beauty therapy
- Experience as a hairdressing and beauty therapy tutor
- Experience in planning and delivering lessons using a range of teaching and learning methodologies
- Ability to assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
