IFDC is seeking to recruit the above intern to support their Knowledge Management Department in their day-to-day activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Update the knowledge repository with relevant knowledge resources
- Support with planning and execution of related knowledge events, seminars and dialogues
- Organizing, and classifying documents in collaboration with content owners (units, departments, teams) by using IFDC guidelines
- Assist in identifying, digitizing, and uploading relevant documents on past IFDC project documents.
- Assist in the identification, listing, transfer, and preservation of non-current records.
- Provide management support for the Audio-visual Archives through processing the Audio-Visual collection of IFDC according to format i.e. photographs, videos, films, and sound recordings.
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Required Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree information science, records management, archiving, BBIT, or a closely related field.
- Excellent command of the English language; knowledge of French is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonalin skills and ability to operate effectively in an environment with multiple stakeholders and people from different cultures and backgrounds.
