Tillows Global is an investment holding company incorporated in Kenya with business interest in various sectors including Real Estate, eProcurement System, Coworking spaces and Property Management. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
He or she performs the following tasks:
- Knowledge is System Administrations specifically Musoni and Hubspot
- Install and maintain hardware and software: Assist in installing and configuring hardware and software, including operating systems, applications, and peripherals, and ensure they are up-to-date and secure.
- Monitor system performance: Monitor the performance of computer systems, networks, and servers, and diagnose and resolve problems as they arise.
- Assist in the implementation of security measures to protect the computer systems and networks from unauthorized access.
- Participate in the testing and evaluation of new hardware and software products
- Maintain and update system documentation, including user manuals, procedures, and technical guides.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support to end-users.
- Desktop support experience with troubleshooting desktop, laptop, printer and connectivity in a Windows/Apple & Active Directory environment.
- Understanding of CI/CD deployment.
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
- Any other duty assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
- BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus.
- least 3 years of experience in the System administration, IT systems or a relevant field
- Experience in Musoni Microfinance System, Odoo and Hubspot CRM is an added
Key Skills and Competencies
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
- Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other language
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to troubleshoot
