Applicants must possess Diploma in Early Childhood Development Education with five (5) years’ experience in Grade 5 or equivalent position
Teacher II, Grade 5

- Applicants must possess a Diploma in Early Childhood Development Education with five (5) years’ experience in Grade 4
OR
- A Certificate in Early Childhood Development Education with seven (7) years’ experience in grade 4
Teacher III, Grade 4

- Applicants must possess Certificate in Early Childhood Development Education with five (5) years’ experience in Grade 3
Senior Lecturer/ Senior Research Fellow
All applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- An earned PhD in the relevant field from an accredited and recognized university
- At least five (5) years teaching experience at the university level as a Lecturer / Research Fellowor six (6) years research /industry experience
- Successfully supervised to completion at least four (4) Masters’ students and one (1) PhD student since last promotion
- Published at least three (3) papers in peer referred journals or three (3) chapters in a university level book or one (1) book since last promotion
- Registered /Certified with the relevant professional body (where applicable)
OR
- Masters’ degree in Engineering, Law, Medicine and Architecture in the relevant field from an accredited and recognized university
- At least eight (8) years teaching experience at the University level as Lecturer / Research Fellow or ten (10) years research / industry experience
- Mentored at least two (2) graduates to professional registration as practicing professionals since appointment as Lecturer / Research Fellow
- Registered/certified with the relevant professional body
Senior Librarian, Grade 13
JKU/LIBRARY/SL/13/2023
All applicants must possess:
- PhD in Library and Information Studies or equivalent from a recognized institution with three (3) years’ experience in Grade 12 OR
- Master’s Degree in Library and Information Studies or equivalent from a recognized institution with five (5) years’ experience in grade 12 and 2) Published one scholarly paper or a chapter in a scholarly book
