PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable to include assisting the staff accountant in completing transactional level tasks.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing procedures to ensure the successful management of all financial activities.                                 

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
  • Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
  • Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process.
  • Provide input into department’s goal setting process and oversee company’s accounting operations.
  • Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.
  • Responsible for the monthly tax declaration and payment, responsible for the relevant tax inspection, understand the tax policy of the tax authority
  • Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
  • Plan, assign and review junior accountant work, regulate and authenticate financial transactions.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial accounting process
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Ensure all the monthly transactions are accurately done in financial system, check all the balance sheet account code balance, check all the expense incurred and reconcile where applicable.
  • Suggestion on payment and backup the businesses.
  • Collecting the weekly budget every Friday for following cash budget report and consolidate to a whole report. Monitoring the payment based on the budget and work with other departments to upload budget.
  • Control the risk caused by the agreements improper signed.
  • Control the risk of irregularity invoice.
  • Control the risk of FX exchanged.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Educational Qualification: Bachelor in Accounting/Finance or CPA-K
  • Professional Qualification: He/she must be a chartered accountant
  • 5-7 years Working Experience as senior Accountant
