- Ensure stores are cleaned and meticulously laid out, arranged and staked, items well labelled for easier access, count and issuance. Keep walkways clear for safety and ease of movement.
- Accurately receive Raw materials and Packing materials that comply to our set internal quality specifications in strict adherence to the laid down procedures of documentation both physically and in SAP and effectively prepare for offloading.
- Accurately receive finished goods from production both physically and in SAP with strict adherence to the laid down procedures and follow the documentation required.
- Receive market returns into the store in strict adherence to the laid down procedures. Credit notes to be processed within 24hrs of product returns.
- Ensure production materials requirements of PM and RM are issued timely and stock transfer documents well filled, signed and filed.
- Ensure all packaging and raw materials are ordered on time by monitoring and maintaining optimal stock levels with the guide of reorder levels as per the inventory module in place.
- Ensure zero SAP errors by prompt processing of credit notes for market returns, material issues and receipts into SAP and accurate issues of materials to production in SAP
- Ensure accurate stocks in all warehouses by conducting spot-checks, maintaining updated bin cards and participating in the end month stock count exercise
- In liaison with logistics and production, adequately prepare orders for dispatch for the following day ensuring no missed sale due to stock out of any SKU’s.
- Write stock reports and forward them to the production manager to facilitate real time information in stock level at all times.
- Reconcile all daily production i.e. cartons produced in a day to address and avoid stock variances.
- Follow-up with procurement to make sure that all ordered materials are delivered on time
- Forwarding finished goods to Logistics store for onward selling.
- Conduct daily stock reconciliation and movement for all the stocks of Finished Goods, Packing Materials and Raw Materials and address any gaps and submit the reports to the production manager.
- Conduct investigation and report to the production manager on any stock variances daily and implement a strategy to eliminate them
- Organizing items in the routine place according to the warehouse terms.
- Inspecting the stocks and reporting about the damaged products.
- Managing cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse on a day to day basis.
- Following all the warehouse safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements
Diploma in Store Keeping, Procurement and Supplies Chain, Business Administration/CPA 1
3 years relevant experience in a busy production industry
