Graduate Assistant in Computer Science

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Applicants must have graduated in the last two (2) years with first-class honors Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science from a recognized and accredited University.
• Applicant must be ready to enroll for a Master’s degree program in Computer Science.
• Membership in a relevant professional organization will be an added advantage.

TERMS OF SERVICE

Graduate Assistant is a training position based on one (1) year renewable contract up to a maximum of three (3) years subject to yearly Masters Progress. Remuneration will be based on the existing Inter–Public Universities Council Consultation Forum (IPUCCF) negotiated terms.

Plumber

QUALIFICATIONS:

• KCSE D Plus or its equivalent
• Government trade test III in plumbing or equivalent certificate in Plumbing from an accredited Technical Training Institution.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant working experience in a similar field.

Mason

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Applicants must have a minimum qualification of KCSE Mean Grade D (plain) or its equivalent
• Government Trade Test III in Masonry or equivalent certificate in Masonry from an accredited Technical Training Institution.
• Applicants must have at least two (2) years of masonry experience and show merit and ability in their job performance.

Electrical Works Personnel

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination (KCSE) mean grade D+ or recognized equivalent qualification.
• Government Trade test III in electrical works or equivalent from an accredited Technical Training Institution.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant working experience.
• Knowledge of relevant professional standards.
• Understand the Regulations that apply to installations, repairs and maintenance of electrical systems and appliances in Kenya.

Carpentry Personnel

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade ‘D’ plain or it’s equivalent from a recognized institution; and
• Artisan National Trade Test Grade /apprentice Certificate awarded by the National Industrial Training Authority or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution.
• Served as a Carpenter for a minimum of 3 years.
• Knowledge and Experience in both Industrial and Domestic Aluminum and Carpentry fittings.

Welder

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination (KCSE) mean grade D+ or recognized equivalent qualification.
• Craft Certificate in welding, Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized technical institution;
• Occupational Health and Safety knowledge;
• One (1) year of experience in mechanical engineering
• Fabrication, welding, plumbing, fitting and lathe operation skills will be an added advantage.

Painter / Glazier

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum KCSE mean grade D (plain)
• Artisan National Trade Test Certificate Grade /apprentice Certificate awarded by the National Industrial Training Authority or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution.
• Served as a Painter and Glazier for a minimum of 3 years.
• Knowledge and Experience in painting and glazing works.

Steel Fixer

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum KCSE mean grade D (plain)
• Artisan National Trade Test Certificate Grade /apprentice Certificate awarded by the National Industrial Training Authority or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution.
• Served as a Steel Fixer for a minimum of 3 years.
• Knowledge and Experience in steel fixer works.

General Foreman

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum KCSE mean grade C (plain)
• KNEC Diploma in Building Construction or Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Served as a Foreman for a minimum of 5 years.
• Knowledge and Experience in large construction works and maintenance works.
