Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
- Create compelling and effective logos, designs, print, and digital media
- Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends Conceptualizing visuals based on requirements and pitch creative ideas
- Use various techniques to create drafts, models and prototypes
- Testing graphics across various media
- Produce final design solutions (like logos, banners, interfaces)
- Collaborate with team members to launch projects
Qualifications
- A strong portfolio of creative illustrations or other graphics showcasing strong conceptual ability
- Teamwork and collaboration skills
- Adaptable with ability to work with speed and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A keen eye for detail
- Good copywriting skills in both English & Swahili
- Time management and multitasking abilities
- Problem-solving aptitude

Technical Qualifications
- BSc/BA in Design, Computer Science, IT, Arts or a related field
- Up to three years of experience as a Designer
- Computer fluency in Mac and PC
- Experience with design software/graphics editing tools and styles e.g., InVision, Photoshop, CorelDRA
- InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Motion Graphics and Animation
- Familiarity with design techniques e.g. prototyping
- Understanding of visual elements (layout, type and fonts)
- Proven development experience in creative design, 3D animations and video production and editing
