Job Title:           Marketing Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Marketing Officer is responsible for positioning Stratostaff as a talent market leader in its selected market segments and making it the first recruitment choice for its target candidates.

Objective:

  1. Position the Stratostaff Brand as a market leader in talent acquisition and staff outsourcing in target market segments
  2. Grow the Stratostaff brand as an employer of choice
  3. Build strong confidence in target executive candidates’ minds and grow the potential leadership talent pool

Key responsibilities include

  1. Support the General Manager and Business Development Lead in developing/updating an annual marketing plan
  2. Meticulously implementing the agreed marketing plan in support of the sales efforts
  3. Organizing and attending marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness and to position Stratostaff as a market leader
  4. Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth
  5. Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social, print etc.)
  6. Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s brand.
  7. Coordinate activities with Strat staff’s strategic partners
  8. Prepare content for the publication of marketing material include thought leadership content and oversee distribution
  9. Develop monthly marketing reports that demonstrate an impact, including, where possible Return on Investment
  10. Undertake internal activities in collaboration with HR that grow the internal brand including staff branding and publishing the internal bulletin
  11. Developing and reviewing packaging standards for all Stratostaff documents as part of the brand positioning
  12. Maintaining the Stratostaff social presence including an up to date website

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business with a marketing qualification being an added advantage
  2. At least three years marketing or sales experience
  3. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  4. A creative mind set and solution orientation
  5. Thorough understanding of social media and web analytics
  6. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  7. A team player with a customer-oriented approach
