Job Title: Marketing Officer
Reports to: Business Development Manager
Location: Nairobi
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Officer is responsible for positioning Stratostaff as a talent market leader in its selected market segments and making it the first recruitment choice for its target candidates.
Objective:
- Position the Stratostaff Brand as a market leader in talent acquisition and staff outsourcing in target market segments
- Grow the Stratostaff brand as an employer of choice
- Build strong confidence in target executive candidates’ minds and grow the potential leadership talent pool
Key responsibilities include
- Support the General Manager and Business Development Lead in developing/updating an annual marketing plan
- Meticulously implementing the agreed marketing plan in support of the sales efforts
- Organizing and attending marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness and to position Stratostaff as a market leader
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth
- Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social, print etc.)
- Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s brand.
- Coordinate activities with Strat staff’s strategic partners
- Prepare content for the publication of marketing material include thought leadership content and oversee distribution
- Develop monthly marketing reports that demonstrate an impact, including, where possible Return on Investment
- Undertake internal activities in collaboration with HR that grow the internal brand including staff branding and publishing the internal bulletin
- Developing and reviewing packaging standards for all Stratostaff documents as part of the brand positioning
- Maintaining the Stratostaff social presence including an up to date website
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business with a marketing qualification being an added advantage
- At least three years marketing or sales experience
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- A creative mind set and solution orientation
- Thorough understanding of social media and web analytics
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- A team player with a customer-oriented approach
