Position Summary
KCIC Consulting Limited seeks a highly motivated intern with an understanding of climate change to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the collection and analysis of data related to climate change impacts.
- Conduct literature reviews and synthesize information on climate change trends and impacts.
- Participate in the development of reports, presentations, and other materials on climate change
- Assist with the organization and management of events and workshops related to climate change.
- Support the development and implementation of climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to the development of climate change solutions.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in a related field, such as environmental science, environmental management, and sustainable development.
- Strong understanding of climate change issues and the impacts of climate change on various sectors.
- Experience with data analysis and research is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Location: Kenya
Duration: 3-6 months (with the possibility of extension)
