Our client in the Construction industry is seeking to hire a highly qualified and efficient procurement officer who is familiar with supply chain procedures: researching new vendors, tracking deliveries and updating order records.

Key Responsibilities

· The person will be responsible to get quotes from the suppliers, negotiate with the supplier to get the best rates, finalize the best quotation and present it to the director for approval.

· Follow up with the supplier for the scheduling of the shipment and get the copied document of the same and then forward the copied documents to the clearing agent.

· Coordinate with the finance department for the payments to the suppliers.

· Follow up with the supplier for release of the shipments.

· Managing the inventory with regular checking of physical stocks on daily basis.

· Suggesting the directors to re-order materials as per the current stock and plan accordingly before the stock lasts.

· Preparing the forecast statement for the order arrivals, payment processing, and new orders on weekly basis and presenting it to the Directors and CFO.

Skills & Qualifications

· The preferable candidate must be having a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in procurement.

· Min 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

· Good understanding of supply chain procedures

· The candidate must have prior experience in Inventory Management.

· The preferable candidate must have prior experience working on an ERP system.
