Reporting to: Director
 
Job Location: Nairobi
 
The main role of the Human Resource officer is to provide leadership for Company’s Human Resource, to optimize employee performance.


·      Recruitment and Selection
·      Training and Development
·      Development of staff welfare activities
·      Health and Safety Compliance
Responsibilities
· Risk Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives & systems.
· Manage projects from initiation to closure & accountable for project results
· Provide counseling on policies & procedures
· Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads & managing the hiring process
· Create & implement effective onboarding plans
· Develop training & development programs
· Assist in performance management processes
· Support the management of disciplinary & grievance issues
· Any other duty assigned.
Experience


·      Three years relevant experience
·      Must demonstrate people management abilities.
·      Knowledge of General Human Resource Principles and Labour Laws

Education and professional memberships
·      Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Human Resource equivalent is mandatory.
·      Candidates MUST be members of IHRM.
·      Advanced computer skills.
