The firm, a member of Kreston International, a global network of independent accounting firms, provides professional services that include audit, tax and consulting.
To adequately respond to the increasing demands of our rapidly growing client portfolio, we seek to recruit the following positions:
Audit Seniors: Ref No. KKM/001/2023
The Audit Senior is expected to perform a variety of public accounting duties with above-average knowledge of all areas of the practice with auditing being the primary area of concentration. Responsibilities include performing audits and reviewing procedures as assigned by supervisors, preparing audit and review work papers, participating in planning and scheduling client engagements, preparing trial balances and compiling financial statements; thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures and techniques; supervising, training and mentoring other auditors and interns on audit process; research and analyse financial statements and audit related issues; acquire a working knowledge of the client’s business; proactively interact with key client’s management to gather information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements; perform other job-related duties as necessary.
The successful candidate will possess the following basic competencies/skills:
- A degree in finance, CPAK and a member of ICPAK.
- At least 3 years’ experience in an audit firm.
- Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment.
- Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude.
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines.
- Dedicated to superior client service.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Thorough understanding of the ISAs, IASs/IFRSs, Tax procedures, Income Tax Act, VAT Act, among others

Part-time Audit Associates: Ref No. KKM/002/2023
Kreston KM & Co (Kreston KM), Certified Public Accountants, is an accounting firm registered and operating under the Accountants Act Chapter 15 of 2008 – Laws of Kenya. The firm, a member of Kreston International, a global network of independent accounting firms, provides professional services that include audit, tax and consulting.
To meet the demands of our growing clientele, the firm wishes to engage the services of well-qualified and experienced auditing professionals on a part-time basis to augment its current professional workforce.
The successful candidate must possess the following basic competencies/skills:
- Holder of CPA final qualification or its equivalent
- Member of ICPAK in good standing
- Demonstrate superior experience in the risk-based external audit processes in accordance with ISAs.
- Good interpersonal skills and demonstrate ability to supervise professional staff deployed on an external audit assignment.
- Knowledge of CCH auditing software will be an added advantage.
