Madison Life Assurance Kenya is seeking to recruit Sales Agents to be based in one of its Nairobi branches.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop a base for long-term sources of clients by using referrals, occupational, and special interest groups to compile lists of prospects.
- Approach potential clients by utilizing mailings and phone solicitation; make presentations to groups at company-sponsored gatherings; speak publicly to individuals or groups on the subject of financial well-being.
- Determine client’s needs and financial situations by scheduling fact-finding appointments; determine the extent of present coverage and investments; ascertain long-term goals.
- Develop a coordinated protection plan by calculating and quoting rates for immediate coverage action and long-term strategy implementation.
- Obtain underwriting approval by completing an application for coverage.
- Complete coverage by delivering policy documents; planning future follow-up visits and evaluations of needs.
Requirements:
- Minimum age of 25 years.
- Diploma/Degree in Actuarial science/Insurance /any business-related field is an added advantage.
- At least one year of experience in Sales, Marketing, or the Insurance sector is preferred.
- Must be computer literate and a strong social media enthusiast.
- Must be ready to attend training and start working immediately.
