QA/QC Supervisor at Unity Homes

Role: 

Responsible for the coordination of site survey activities.

Job Specifications :

• Educational qualifications – Bachelor’s Degree in Survey, photogrammetry and remote sensing; Geo spatial Engineering; Geomatics Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Previous experience in the construction industry is required (Housing and Infrastructure).
• Proficient in use of survey equipment GPS, Total Station, Dumpy level and laser machines.
• Knowledge and proficient use of current survey software applications is an added advantage.
• Able to meet tight deadlines and schedules while maintaining quality, safety and profitability.
• Ability to read and understand drawings/specifications.
• Able to work within the project framework(s) and adhere to all Company guidelines and policies.
• Good planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Job Summary :

• Establishing ground survey controls including Traverse stations and benchmarks.
• Setting out of structures.
• To check the setting out of all other parts of the works.
• Controlling structure, Networks and pavement levels using a level machine and guiding the site supervisors accordingly on how to achieve them.
• Computation and compiling of quantities for Interim Payments Certificates
• Ensure maintenance and calibration of survey equipment.
• Keep records of measurements and survey reports.
