Role:
Responsible for the coordination of site survey activities.
Job Specifications :
- Educational qualifications – Bachelor’s Degree in Survey, photogrammetry and remote sensing; Geo spatial Engineering; Geomatics Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Previous experience in the construction industry is required (Housing and Infrastructure).
- Proficient in use of survey equipment GPS, Total Station, Dumpy level and laser machines.
- Knowledge and proficient use of current survey software applications is an added advantage.
- Able to meet tight deadlines and schedules while maintaining quality, safety and profitability.
- Ability to read and understand drawings/specifications.
- Able to work within the project framework(s) and adhere to all Company guidelines and policies.
- Good planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Job Summary :
- Establishing ground survey controls including Traverse stations and benchmarks.
- Setting out of structures.
- To check the setting out of all other parts of the works.
- Controlling structure, Networks and pavement levels using a level machine and guiding the site supervisors accordingly on how to achieve them.
- Computation and compiling of quantities for Interim Payments Certificates
- Ensure maintenance and calibration of survey equipment.
- Keep records of measurements and survey reports.
