DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all transactions are recorded.
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
- Maintaining bank files, updating transfers for all our accounts.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Petty cash management and reconciliation.
- Handling all cash transactions and organizing for timely banking.
- M-Pesa Account management and reconciliation.
- Stock take and stock reconciliation.
- Posting Workshop bills, Fuel, Job cards and billing customers on the same.
- Posting Mpala’s and staff vehicle fuel consumption and Motor vehicle Repairs
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Certified public accountant part II section IV.
- Degree in business management, accounting, finance or any other related field.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer accounting software.
- Good with numbers and an analytical acumen.
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- A well-organized team player with the ability to perform various tasks, act individually, and think creatively.
- Excellent organizing abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Dependable, honest and trustworthy.
- Energetic, positive, and constructive attitude.
